Topics to help keep you balanced – Conti

Thirty years ago when the healing arts was beginning to blossom in people’s minds, I was introduced to Yoga, Jung and Reflexology. These three topics formed the basis of who I am and provided the structures that have helped keep me balanced whether mentally, socially, or physically.
Topic Three – Reflexology – the physical side. Reflexology works on the idea of applying pressure to points on the ears, hands, or feet. When we do this, we can improve circulation, relax inner tension, and normalize
body conditions naturally.

Stresses and strains affect the mind and body and we have to keep all parts of ourselves in balance, otherwise we get thrown off balance and poor health will follow. Staying healthy requires that you remain hardy yet resilient.

You can do this through turning your mind turned towards positive ideas, maintaining healthy, constructive relationships with others, and keeping your body relaxed and balanced.

Question: What types of coping skills do you draw on when under the stresses and strains of life?

Stay awake, aware, and alert and strive to lead a well-tempered life – a life that possesses both hardiness and flexibility. The good news is that once you are awake, you can never go to sleep again, but if you do, do it on purpose and prepare yourself for the consequences.
