USINESS CONCEPTS – HOW DO YOU RELATE TO THE FOLLOWING?

Let’s carry on with our business concept discussion.  Here are some terms to review.

• Marketing: The process and techniques of promoting, selling and distributing a product or service.
• Sales: To give up something in return for something else.
• Service: To perform actions auxiliary to production or distribution – that contribute to building loyal customers.

Marketing – getting the message out to the targeted audience.

Sales – an exchange.

Service – follow up, pleasant interactions, loyalty and public relations activities that build customer relationships.
